Private beta · pre-launch

Free, unfinished, and built on your honest feedback.

Zonesteward isn't launched. The beta is how it gets finished — by agencies running real fleets and telling us where it fails. Here is the trade, in full.

In one line: you get the product free for the whole beta and half price for a year after; we get three questions a month answered, two twenty-minute calls, and your honest feedback along the way.

What you get

  1. Free for the whole beta

No card, no trial clock. Your workspace costs nothing until general availability, and you'll have at least 30 days' notice before that.

  2. Half price for a year, locked

When billing starts, beta testers pay 50% of whatever tier fits for the first year. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan; if you don't, your workspace goes read-only, not deleted.

  3. A direct line

You talk to the person building it. Bugs get fixed in days, not roadmap quarters, and you'll hear what changed and why.

  4. A say in what ships

Twenty workspaces, not twenty thousand. What testers ask for is what gets built next.

What we ask for

  1. Three questions a month

Once a month, inside the app, we ask everyone in your workspace who used it three short questions. They change with how long you've been testing — setup first, then what you tried and what broke, then what's missing and what it's worth. A minute, tops.

  2. Two twenty-minute calls

One around your first month, when setup pain is fresh and fixable. One around your third, to decide together whether to keep going. That's the whole meeting schedule.

  3. Your honest feedback

Which answers held up and which didn't, which charts you trusted, which proposals you'd never approve, which features you'd actually use — say so, in the app or by reply. A silent tester is the one thing the beta can't use.

  4. An owner who answers

One person in your workspace is accountable for the feedback loop. Not every seat; just someone we can reach.

What you accept

  1. It's unfinished

Things will break and things will change. Surfaces move, wording shifts, a feature you liked may be reworked. It is a product under construction and it will feel like one.

  2. No SLA

It's meant to be up, and we work on it like it is, but nothing is guaranteed and nothing is compensated.

  3. You bring your model key

Answers are generated under your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, billed to you by them at their rates. A busy agency month is typically a few dollars; we never mark it up.

  4. We learn from how you use it

We look at usage and failure signals — what got asked, where answers missed, where people got stuck — to improve the product. We don't read your Cloudflare data beyond what's needed to fix a problem you report.

  5. It can end

If the beta stops, you get 30 days' notice and your data as JSON. Your Cloudflare tokens are yours to revoke, and you should.

Questions

What does 'pre-launch' mean here?

Zonesteward is built and in daily use, but it hasn't launched: no public sign-up, no billing, and parts of it are still being reworked. The beta is how it gets finished — with real fleets, real incidents and people willing to give honest feedback.

Who is it for?

Agencies and teams responsible for Cloudflare zones they didn't all build themselves — usually ten or more, across client accounts. If you run one site you'll get less from the fleet view, and you'd be filling a seat someone with forty zones needs.

What if we stop answering the check-ins?

We'll ask why. If the tool isn't earning its place, that's useful to know and we'd rather hear it. If a workspace goes quiet for a long stretch with no reply, we'll free the seat for the next applicant — after telling you.

Does everyone in the workspace have to agree?

The owner agrees on the workspace's behalf when applying. The monthly questions go to whoever actually used the tool that month; nobody is chased for not using it.

Can we leave?

Any time. Say so, revoke your Cloudflare tokens, and the workspace is deleted after 30 days along with its encrypted database.

Apply

Two minutes of questions about what you run and what takes your time. We read every one ourselves and answer within a few days — yes, not yet, and why. The application asks you to confirm you've read this page.
